10 things i hate about you

movie poster

have you watched this movie? yeah, it’s a pretty old movie, was made to public in 1999 and became a big success. i just watched this, like literally just now. it was one of those american teenage movies. you know, full of dramas, fights, and whatnot. but, in a strange way, i like it. i feel like i could relate to the movie. i mean, well yeah, it made me think of my senior year when i was in USA, made me think of my year in america, actually. but, it also made me think about that teenage longing, you know, when you try to act tough as if nobody understands you and what relief that is when you finally find somebody whom you can actually be yourself 100% to. i’m glad i’m over that (i guess, lol). it is something nice to reminisce, though. at least it makes you giggle and think about how silly you were back then. life seemed to be pretty simple and happy. and your so-called big problems were actually just little bread crumbs compared to what you have to go through these days.

oh, i’m going to quote that famous 10 things i hate about you poem here. bear with me, guys. here we go.

I hate the way you talk to me,
and the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car,
I hate it when you stare.
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
it even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way you’re always right,
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when you’re not around,
and the fact that you didn’t call.
But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you,
not even close
not even a little bit
not even at all.

come on. it’s pretty, isn’t it? a perfect wrap up of an innocent teenage romance.

but mostly i hate the way i don’t hate you, not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all
